The new year is upon us and we should all be looking forward to the next and all it has to offer in entertainment…BUT let’s take a moment to look at the ups and downs of Riskening for the past year, shall we?<\/p>\n
My old hosting failed me.<\/a> (Big surprise…NOT)<\/p>\n CoD : WaW and the start of a beautiful thing…<\/a>\u00a0(aka Resident Evil 5 demo)<\/p>\n The old host fails…AGAIN.<\/a>\u00a0(surprised yet?)<\/p>\n The Resident Evil 5 coverage begins!<\/a>\u00a0(teaming up with my cousin)<\/p>\n …and Continues!<\/a>\u00a0(eat it Wesker!)<\/p>\n Nintendo is starting to get the picture (maybe)\u00a0that we need more space on the Wii than they give us.<\/a>\u00a0(how about some more online games too?)<\/p>\n Starting to get excited about Terminator Salvation…<\/a>\u00a0(and not disappointed regardless of what the naysayers have to say)<\/p>\n The Anticipated List is starting to take form.<\/a>\u00a0(it’ll grow in due time)<\/p>\n The 360 fails by way of the dreaded e74!<\/a>\u00a0(and the PS3 gets a little extra lovin while he’s gone)<\/p>\n I give my 2 cents about what was missing from RE5.<\/a>\u00a0(still a great game though, I forgive you Capcom)<\/p>\n Tacos at Midnight Doritos disappoint me.<\/a>\u00a0(if I wanted to eat some taco seasoning I would’ve just ripped open a bag and chugged some down)<\/p>\n Atleast the Red Dead Redemption trailer picked my spirits up.<\/a>\u00a0(and the new gameplay one is even more exciting)\u00a0<\/p>\n We recieve some sad news about the development team at 3d Realms.<\/a>\u00a0(but DNF will push on and maybe we’ll actually be able to play it…someday)<\/p>\n I give my opinion about digital copies…<\/a> (you know, those things that come with certain DVDs that I’m sure they charge you extra for AND that you have to use before a certain expiration date)<\/p>\n …and the new Eco-box craze.<\/a>\u00a0(here’s a hint, they suck)<\/p>\n Japan continues to make awesome commercials.<\/a> (Oh Japan, you so crazy!)<\/p>\n What better way to celebrate Memorial day than with the first major Modern Warfare 2 trailer?<\/a>\u00a0(answer: it doesn’t get much better than that)<\/p>\n We learn a thing or two about game shipping precautions<\/a>. (this has been a Riskening.com PSA)<\/p>\n The Terminator Salvation game, unlike the movie, disappoints me.<\/a>\u00a0(rushing licensed games out the door doesn’t pay, kids)<\/p>\n Nazi Zombies postpones the new Anticipated List.<\/a> (you win this time zombies!)<\/p>\n 3d Realms continues to battle with it’s publisher Take-Two\u00a0over Duke Nukem Forever.<\/a> (FIGHT!)<\/p>\n The new look for Max Payne emerges…through several screenshots.<\/a>\u00a0(looking pretty scruffy man)<\/p>\n We take a look at some of the latest and greatest titles in terms of Co-op play.<\/a>\u00a0(we’re in this together now)<\/p>\n The long overdue Anticipated series is underway at last. First up, Wii!<\/a>\u00a0(you know you want these games)<\/p>\n We learn a thing or two about stacking the dead.<\/a>\u00a0(in video games…of course)<\/p>\n Hey PS3! You’re up to the Anticipated stand.<\/a>\u00a0(bring on the exclusives)<\/p>\n Nazi Zombies threatens the status of the Anticipated series AGAIN.<\/a>\u00a0(this time with a little help from Splosion Man)<\/p>\n The Anticipated List is starting to wind down…but not until we get through this feast of multiconsole goodies!<\/a> (part 1)<\/p>\n The Anticipated series goes out with a BANG!<\/a> (and a heaping load of upcoming titles)<\/p>\n I try my hand at a DVDs of the week post.<\/a>\u00a0(maybe this will even become a regular thing someday?)<\/p>\n A suprisingly good week for us Co-op gamers comes along out of the blue.<\/a>\u00a0(it’s about time!)<\/p>\n We took a little break.<\/a> (hey, if I got paid for this I would be much more adament about keeping up with posts but alas…)<\/p>\n …until we get back into the swing of things with some of my favorite titles of the moment.<\/a>\u00a0(atleast my 21st birthday was this month too! \ud83d\ude00 …on the 21st may I add)<\/p>\n I try to get back into DVD picks of the week again.<\/a> (it was a nice try, right?)<\/p>\n The switch to a new web host begins at last!<\/a> (and well overdue if you ask me)<\/p>\n …looks like things are going good on the new host, no?<\/a> (even though it’s not hard to beat the old one)<\/p>\n The Bayonetta demo astounds!<\/a> (January’s looking to be a good one)<\/p>\nFebruary –<\/h3>\n
