So, the Bayonetta demo is upon us now (here in the US, Japan and people who signed up from the website got it a little earlier) and I must say that I quite enjoyed it. Although I’ve never been too much of a Devil May Cry fan, having only played completely through the first one and starting but falling a bit short in 4, I can safely say I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the full version. The demo was short but sweet, offering 3 areas : training course, falling clock tower piece stage, and a third area that serves as a sort of transportation hub. During these stages though you get a good taste of the crazy action and enemies, including a couple mini-bosses. The finishing moves, or “torture moves” as they call them, are quite entertaining as well. I mean just look at the mighty hair kick above. And shooting in 360 degrees with the heel guns? Hell yeah!
Get the Bayonetta demo on Xbox Live Marketplace or Playstation Network now if you’re at all interested in this game and you probably won’t be disappointed (and maybe even as thrilled as I am). The game will be hitting stores early January so we only have about a month wait now…
